The summer language courses for international students and teachers are organised by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education in cooperation with Croatian universities. The course is intended for students of Croatian and of Slavic Studies. It is also open to university teachers - professors, assistant professors with Ph.D. degrees, research assistants of departments teaching Croatian language and literature.
Places at the summer course of Croatian language are allocated to Masaryk University based on quota, and will be filled by the Rector's Office of Masaryk University.
Applications need to be submitted online through this platform by the date below. Thereafter, selected candidates are nominated for the award of scholarship to the Croatian partner. The selected candidates then need to apply through the online portal of the Croatian Agency for Mobility and the EU persuant to the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MoEYS). Only candidates nominated by the MoEYS to the Croatian partner can participate at the summer course. The final decision on the acceptance of the nominated candidate rests with the foreign partner. Final results of the application proceedings will be announced by the foreign partner, in July at the latest.

Participation at the summer course is funded by the Ministry of Science and Education of Croatia.
The minimum level of language competence required is B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (in relation to understanding, speaking, and writing). Preference is given to candidates with a language level of B2 and above.
The scholarship is used to cover the participation in the course and in the accompanying events, as well as the cost of accommodation and meals. Scholarship holders do not receive any payments.
