Mongolia: Summer courses for university students in Mongolian studies

The summer courses for international students are organised by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia in cooperation with local universities. The programme may include intensive language courses or a series of lectures on culture, history, literature and local realia.
The summer school organised by the National Council of Mongolian Studies under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia is intended primarily for students of Mongolian language and culture. Students of other disciplines, such as linguistics, religious studies, and areal studies focusing on Mongolia can also be accepted, however a proof of proficiency in Mongolian at least at A2 level is a prerequisite for admission.
The scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia.

Additional conditions
Pursuant to the current bilateral agreement, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia will decide on the admission of candidates by the end of June 2025 at the latest.
Stay information
Scholarship
- The scholarship consists of free participation in the course, accompanying events, accommodation and meals. Scholarship holders are not paid any money.
