The offer of study and research stays for academic staff of universities in Czechia is based on contractual obligations between the Czechia and the partner country. Applicants are responsible for finding a host university in their field of study. In the first stage, applicants apply to the Czech partner - the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MoEYS). They submit an online scholarship application with the required attachments in Czech by the deadline (see below). MoEYS selects the applicants to nominate for the scholarship and forwards the list to the Polish partner agency NAWA. NAWA then contacts each candidate (probably during June) to invite them to register online via the NAWA portal. The online registration includes uploading documents as required by the Polish partner. The required documents always include an Acceptance Letter from the Polish host university. The Polish partner has the final decision on the acceptance of the nominated candidates. Information about the stay duration, number of scholarships awarded, requirements for the applicant and other conditions are given in the offer details. Further information about scholarships in Poland is available on the website of the Polish partner organisation NAWA. The scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
