Course description

The Continuing Education Program - Level I Clinical Training for the field of Bee Diseases is governed by Act No. 166/1999 Coll. on veterinary care and the amendment of certain related laws (the Veterinary Act), Regulation No. 331/2021 Coll. on the organization of education for veterinary doctors working in clinical veterinary medicine, Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on higher education and the amendment and supplement of other laws (Higher Education Act), as amended, the Statute of the University of Veterinary Medicine Brno, the Rules for Continuing Education of the University of Veterinary Medicine Brno, and the Rules for Ensuring the Quality of Educational, Creative, and Related Activities and the Internal Evaluation of the Quality of Educational, Creative, and Related Activities at the University of Veterinary Medicine Brno.
The Continuing Education Program - Level I Clinical Training for Bee Diseases is organized as voluntary education for veterinary doctors working in clinical veterinary medicine. The aim of the program is to deepen the level of knowledge of veterinary doctors in clinical veterinary practice. The education is provided by experts from universities offering accredited masters programs in veterinary medicine or veterinary hygiene, the State Veterinary Administration, private veterinarians, and potentially other experts in the relevant field. The program is supervised by the Internal Evaluation Council at the University of Veterinary Medicine Brno, at the level of continuing education programs by the Continuing Education Council, and at the program level, it is overseen by the program guarantor for Continuing Education - Clinical Training.
The Level I Clinical Training Program for Bee Diseases is followed by the Level II Clinical Training Program for Bee Diseases, which represents a higher level of difficulty focused on specialized knowledge, experience, and skills.
The goal of Level I Clinical Training in Bee Diseases is to build upon the pre-graduate education and qualification as a veterinary doctor, followed by 3 years of practice in the field, in order to deepen the education in practical knowledge, experience, and skills, specifically focusing on clinical veterinary issues related to Bee Diseases.
