Course description

The Environmental Management course is a lifelong learning program that aims to provide graduates with comprehensive education in the field of environmental management and sustainable development in the context of economic, ecological and social changes. It focuses on connecting theoretical foundations with practical applications — from environmental policies and legislation, through management systems, to circular economy and ecological innovations. It also includes the issue of measuring and evaluating the carbon footprint as a key tool in environmental management. The course reflects current trends in environmental education, develops soft skills necessary for change management, and integrates psychological aspects of environmental behavior and principles of envirotherapy.
It thus connects environmental management with pedagogy, psychology and human ecology with the aim of supporting a holistic approach to sustainability.
This is a practically focused professional education that meets the current requirements of the labor market and European legislation. The acquired competencies will help participants to apply themselves in new roles and at the same time contribute to maintaining the competitiveness of the Czech economy in the context of economic, ecological and social changes.
The course is primarily intended for employees of public administration and other public organizations, as well as for educators and students, or other participants interested in development in the field of environmental management, sustainable development, management systems, to the circular economy and ecological innovation.
The course emphasizes equal access and openness, thus fulfilling the principles of inclusive and accessible vocational education.
